10.- Amy winehouse "Back in Black" (Deluxe edition)
¡Esto es una enfant terrible y no la petarda esa con problemas de autoestima (aquí enlazaría con la Spears pero uno tiene principios)! ¡Con la necesidad que tiene esta industria de iconos así!
Pero lo importante es que con Janis Joplin en el retrovisor y Tammi Terrell sujetándole la frente se canta "They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no'" con una credibilidad que las listas de éxitos no oyen desde "Well, I woke up this morning And I got myself a beer". Esto es autenticidad y no lo del mindundi ese (aquí enlazaría con Pete Doherti pero...).

9.- Good Mornig You Tube, La Petite Claudine
Lo bonito de conocer a gente con mejor gusto que tu es que te alegran de vez en cuando con momentazos de lujo ibérico y de forma gratuita. La Petite, con su micro sección, lo ha hecho día tras día.
¿Saben que una vez ella me piropeo? Pues lo guardo bajo 7 encriptaciones distintas. Chincha rabilla, muéranse de envidia. Ella no lo sabe aún pero el otro día puso mi segundo tema preferido de ese disco por el que siento lo más parecido que se puedo sentir a una experiencia religiosa.
Para llevársela con Amy y abrir una lata de Mascarpone, vamos.
8.- "I Wish", Stevie Wonder en Happy Feet.
¿Que tipo de grifa provoca ideas como la de unos pingüinos arrancándose por Brian Wilson, Xavier Cugat o Freddie Mercury? Ninguna a mi alcance, pero reconozcan que no es excitante el tap dance con la línea de bajo de "I wish" que a buen seguro dio como resultado su consumo. Es impagable ver a mi hija extasiada siguiendo el ritmo de la secuencia con su pelo rojo loco. Y, además, un colega mio curró en la peli.
7.- Burial "Untrue"
Me dio por comparar a Metacritics con 3 o 4 colaboradores del Rock de Luxe cuando a la segunda escucha no conseguía más que aburrirme. Sin embargo, en mis tiempos, aprendí que la diferencia entre un crítico y un tipo que recomienda música a los colegas sólo es una cuestión de tiempo: el que tardas en reconocer la cualidad de una obra.
Como dejé de ser el típico que se sabe hasta de color tiene el coche el productor de turno tardé un poco más, pero llegué, oh si, a la conclusión de estar oyendo un discasoh aunque no de los de "fumá, bebé y fiestasoh", no.
Disco tranquilo, electro con alma que dicen, me recuerdan a los noventeros "Rockets HI-Fi" (o eran"The Earthling") pasados por el sampler de un relajadiiiiísmo Aphex Twins tras enrollarse con la lider de "Alpha". ¿Que no se enteran? Bueno, la última frase es como sacada de los matinés de Radio 3 y nadie se queja. Aunque a lo mejor es por que no he escrito "paisaje sonoro".
6.- Snake Eyes - David Holmes "OST Ocean's 13"
Vale que le tilden de pesado pero sin su música las pelis de Sodebergh no serían ni la mitad de buenas. Y me parecen muy buenas. Estilista y formalmente hablando domina como nadie el concepto de la forma fílmica. Tiendo a ver tanto sus películas pares (Ocean's, Traffic, Erin) como las impares (Full Frontal, The Limey o Solaris) y aunque no todas e fascinan todas me entretienen. Pero claro, es fácil: soy géminis.
"Snake Eyes" es un tema tramposo pero muy efectivo. Comienza con un tempo medio rápido de base rítmica funky de finales de los 70 (aunque bien ecualizado) y pasa a ir introduciendo bajo sincopado, metales y tema principal. Pertenece al climax de la película formando un momento redondo pero no lo elijo por eso, lo hago por que es lo único que me hace llegar vivo a El Ejido todas las mañanas.

5.- Casino Royale, créditos iniciales y Chris Cornell.
"Follow me into de desert" y se me ponen los pelos como escarpias, siempre. Cuando me enteré de quien abría la película me deprimí incluso más que cuando supe quien interpretaba a Bond. Pero algo ha pasado en la familia Brocoli y menos mal, por que dejaron de hacer películas de Bond con acción a hacer una cojo-mega película de acción con algo de Bond y vaya si funciona. Y con el mismo sexagenario con el que rodaron "Golden Eye". El caso es que hay reinvención, cosa que Cornell consigue aquí pero no con Audioslave, y mira tu, se continua tarareando la canción hasta días después de seguir impactado por el peliculón.
4.- "All along the watchtower" - Battlestar Galactica final de Crossroads 2ªpt Temporada 3
Un buen día usted descubre que es un ser de otra raza y se entera por que escucha en su cabeza una tonada de Bod Dylan. Esta serie no es de ciencia ficción por la frase anterior si no por que su acción se desarrolla en ¿otra galaxia? pero podría dar igual. Si usted no ha visto lo grandes momentos que depara con situaciones tipo: terrorismo, insurgencia, extorsión, mobbing, inmolaciones, genocidios, suicidios, xenofobia (de la de verdad) y xenosexo (y del bueno) hágase un favor y pónganse al día ya que uno de los mejores climax de la tv mundial es cuando varios de los protagonistas se enteran de que son de otra raza por que escuchan en su cabeza una tonada de Bob Dylan. ¿Y saben que? ¡Es realmente increíble y fílmicamente memorable!

3.- Dexter, la serie, el tema principal y, coño, hasta los salvapantallas.
Será el mono de "Perdidos", o no. Cuando intento explicar a los muggles (esos humanos que desconocen el santo hash) de que trata esta serie siento mucha fustración, de verdad. Le pasará a cualqueira que intente explicar la profundidad psicológica que encierra donde todos los personajes buscan la redención, esconden turbulencias y construyen fachadas a su alrededor. Todos salvo uno, Dexter, el cual no siente nada salvo cuando da rienda a su oculto ser matando a quien lo merece.
Lástima que algunos no sepan apreciar lo cruel, bello y terriblemente cercano de la temática. Técnicamente es una serie impecable y musicalmente una gozada al incorporar a una banda sonora exacta y preciosista los ritmos cubanos que llenan Miami.
2.- "Say the Brother's Name" - Pat Metheny - Brad Mehldau
Sumando los contadores de reproducción de las máquinas donde he oído este año este tema suman 149 veces lo que lo hace, de largo, la canción más oída por mi y mi familia (a excepción de mi hija y la OST de Pocoyo) este 2007. Es una versión del original de Metheny y John Scofield pero con la fuerza, velocidad, bajo y batería que faltó entonces y que hizo que pasara desapercibido (al menos para mi) en "I can see your house from here" y que Mehldau recogió.
Al disco le (Metheny - Mehldau) han dicho de todo pero nadie se mete con este tema, no se puede, es un clásico instantaneo. No sólo por la fuerza de su arranque si no por suponer un ejercicio estilístico perfecto entre la acostumbrada guitarra de Metheny y el iconoclasta Mehldau (si, el tío se atrevió a versionear a piano "Exit Music (for a film)" de Radiohead y Thom Yorke le quiso poner un pisito).
Un must, un 10, el temazoh.
1.- Héctor "Berridos"
Y como-no-podía-ser-de-otra-manera el mejor momento del año de lo lleva Héctor quien lleva con nosotros 3 meses y pico. Sus berridos, pocos, son el sonido más maravilloso del mundo. Y no es subjetividad, es algo que pertenece al bulbo raquídeo. ¿Podría haber algo más maravilloso que eso? Si, cuando le cambio el pañal y le pongo la mano en el pecho y se ríe a carcajadas. Si no pueden entenderlo tengan hijos.
