Synecdoche, New York... y una cita para reflexionar
Synecdoche, New York es la última genialidad de Charlie Kaufman. Es de esas películas para comentar, para debatir, para meditar... como todo lo de Kaufman.
La vi hace una semana (no, no se ha estrenado en España aunque ya está en HD en USA... ejem...) pero no pretendo analizarla ya que eso requeriría un segundo e incluso tercer visionado. Pero como justo terminan ahora unos días de fiesta, de relax y reflexión; tengo excusa para poneros esta memorable quote de Synecdoche:
But while alive, you wait in vain, wasting years, for a phone call or a letter or a look from someone or something to make it all right. And it never comes or it seems to but doesn't really. And so you spend your time in vague regret or vaguer hope for something good to come along. Something to make you feel connected, to make you feel whole, to make you feel loved.
