Admirable Redkaraoke

Europa, Latinoamérica, EEUU y ahora Japón, el karaoke online se convierte en un fenómeno social en todo el mundo.
Madrid, 10 de febrero de 2009.- Red Karaoke anuncia su llegada al mercado japonés con la versión nipona de su página web, www.redkaraoke.jp, tras haberse convertido en la red social de karaoke líder en Europa y EE.UU, apenas dos años después de su creación.
De esta forma, Red Karaoke se suma al club de las cerca de 20 empresas españolas –la primera de Internet- que han dado el salto a Japón, actualmente la segunda economía del mundo y uno de los mercados más competitivos del planeta.
La compañía, nacida en España y presente en la Red desde abril de 2007, aterriza en Japón con un amplio catálogo de más de 31.000 karaokes –más de 10.000 de ellos en idioma japonés, recién incorporados para la ocasión- y con herramientas que permiten al usuario asumir el protagonismo absoluto de la página. Gracias a ellas, sus participantes podrán grabar de forma sencilla sus propios videos y audios, personalizar a su gusto cada canción e incluso compartir karaokes creados por ellos mismos para generar un catálogo potencialmente ilimitado.
Tales prestaciones, unidas al hecho de ofrecerse como servicio totalmente gratuito, permiten a una pequeña compañía como Red Karaoke competir con los gigantes de Internet por el liderazgo mundial en el segmento del karaoke online.
Con más de 700.000 usuarios de diferentes nacionalidades, esta red social de música pretende ampliar su espectro de usuarios con su página en japonés y su tecnología “plug & sing”, mediante la cual el usuario sólo tiene que enchufar un micrófono al PC para registrar su grabación en audio o en vídeo y compartirla con su familia y amigos.
Acciones específicas en Japón
Para reforzar su presencia en Japón y garantizar el mejor servicio posible a sus usuarios, Red Karaoke cuenta desde comienzos de 2009 con oficina propia en Tokio, dirigida por José Manuel Segura, un Country Manager de contrastada experiencia en el mercado nipón de nuevas tecnologías. Asimismo, se ha cerrado un acuerdo de colaboración con una de las compañías de karaoke más grandes de Japón y se ha obtenido la correspondiente licencia con JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publisher) para cubrir todo lo relacionado con los derechos de autor.
En cuanto a la nueva versión de la web, abierta a los internautas desde este 10 de febrero, todo el contenido ha corrido a cargo de traductores japoneses nativos, testeándose en fase beta durante un mes para garantizar su total adaptación a los gustos y costumbres niponas.
Dentro de pocas semanas, Red Karaoke ofrecerá también la posibilidad de efectuar grabaciones y videos privados, con lo que los internautas podrán interactuar de igual forma que en un “karaoke box”, compartiendo sus participaciones sólo con las personas que ellos decidan.
Espíritu emprendedor
El crecimiento de Red Karaoke radica en un concepto muy simple: en esta red social especializada, el usuario es el protagonista. Los usuarios de Red Karaoke conforman una red social pensada para los amantes de la canción, con más de 280.000 usuarios registrados en todo el mundo, unas 950.000 visitas al mes y una base de datos superior a las 31.000 canciones, construida en su mayor parte con las aportaciones de sus miembros.

Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
