Adwords descontroladas
Ha sido terrible. Esta semana tenía que haber sido una más, de estas de agosto, y desgraciadamente acaba en tragedia. Nos queda el consuelo de los milagros, que afortunadamente dan la esperanza.
Por razones profesionales, han sido días de mucho trabajo y análisis. Muchas Páginas Visitadas, URLs, análisis diferentes medios, etc. Y en muchos de estos contenidos: las Adwords de Google con Aseguradoras, compañías Aereas ofreciendo vuelos baratos, Empresas intermediarias ofreciendo viajes, seguros de coches, etc. (He estado tentado a poner marcas que se anunciaban, pero bastante han tenido ya con su nefasta gestión; y muchas de ellas ya han rectificado)
A mi me parece que vincular tu marca a los desastres es horrible. Me parece que es una dejadez por parte de los responsables de Marketing y gestores de cuentas no parar las campañas SEM o Content vinculadas a keywords relacionadas con el horrible episodio del miércoles. Y eso pasó. Muchas marcas, por el descuido de sus acciones publicitarias en buscadores y Adwords, ofrecían billetes baratos, viajes, seguros... Y en medio lectores horrorizados y contenidos que hablaban de 153 muertos.
Adwords, SEM, Content y publicidad de este tipo, no es algo aislado que está ahí y punto, que se acabó tras la negociación del que mejor descuento me hizo. Tengo que ir renovando, revisando, sabiendo lo que pasa sobre cada una de ellas y viendo con qué palabra clave se asociará mi campaña en casos trágicos como el de esta semana. Son campañas vivas que implican la misma responsabilidad publicitaria que un spot de TV o una gráfica en Prensa.
Por todo esto, estaría bien que de las palabras clave seleccionadas para sus campañas eliminen Spanair, Barajas, T4 y demás Keywords que se les ocurran... Por su Marca y por respeto.
Spanair se solidarizó con las víctimas en uno de sus comunicados. Y emplea SEM y Content:

Totalmente de acuerdo con tú análisis Adrián, una campaña en internet no es solo gastarse dinero en adwords o similares y listo...a conseguir muchas visitas y todos contentos.
A veces me da la impresión que la mayoría de personas encargadas de contratar este tipo de campañas no tienen ni idea, ni siquiera aproximada, de lo que es internet y como funciona.
En este no me emociono, paro aquí que si no me queda muy largo ;-)
Acabo felicitandote por tu blog y los análisis que en el haces...que no me acuerdo si lo he hecho ya y mas vale pecar por exceso que por defecto en estos casos :-)
